Construction Liquidations January 1994 - September 2023

Fewer businesses in construction were liquidated during the month of September, 8.2 percent y-y decline in total liquidations across all sectors.  However, it was overall a poor 3rd quarter, with liquidations in construction up 60 percent y-y. A total of 63 businesses were liquidated in the first nine months of 2023, compared to 94 during 2022. On a year to date comparison construction liquidations are still lower by 16 percent.
