Construction Material Price Indices January 2015 - March 2025

With a few exceptions, construction material price adjustments were generally weaker during the 1st quarter of 2025 compared to 2024, slowing to an average composite increase of 1.8 percent in in Q1, compared to a 6.1 percent average increase in 2024. Construction costs have since 2024, eased to below the average consumer inflation rate, although some materials continue to show above inflatonary increases.
