Estimated Civil Tender Values: September 2025

Tender values increased for the 3rd consecutive month in September 2025, rising over R2bn to R9.2bn, compared to the same period in 2024.  This is the highest estimated tender value since the first quarter in 2024. This increase was mainly supported by higher values in Kwazulu Natal and the Western Cape.  The improved performance over the last three months, resulted in a solid performance for the 3rd quarter, exceeding R20bn, up from R18bn in 2025Q2.  Most provinces, led by Kwazulu Natal, Gauteng and Mpumalanga,  recorded an increase since the 2nd quarter, except for the Eastern Cape.
