Wholesale Trade Sales: Construction Materials April 2023

Wholesale trade sales of construction and building materials (in current prices) increased by 11.7 percent y-y in April 2023, albeit coming of a low base in April 2022. On average sales rose 11.6 percent in the first four months of 2023, or 4.3 percent in constant prices (deflated using the consumer price index). Growth has slowed from 5.4 percent in 2022.
