Preferred Construction Material Supplier and Competitor Survey November 2023

Results on 30 projects, valued at R993m were included in the November 2023 survey, with 624 projects surveyed over the last 12 months, with an average response rate of 59 percent. Over 1800 different suppliers have been identified within cement, ready-mix, wall and floor surfaces, formwork, scaffolding, paint, tiling and roofing. The survey provides feedback on suppliers used on active construction projects (trade) across the country to identify the exposure of different suppliers in the market. It also includes feedback on why a particular supplier was preferred. Users are able to identify their own exposure in the market, and that of their competitors as well as monitor motivation factors that influence purchases.
Detailed analysis of each material category are provided to subscribers on a monthly basis.
