Construction Material Price Indices January 2015 - April 2025

The annual change in the composite Construction  Material Price index was unchanged at 1.5 percent y-y for April 2025, following a 0.3 percent m-m increase since March 2025. While the price of stone declined for the 2nd month on a month on month basis, sand edged higher by 0.9 percent. Paint increased by 2 percent m-m that accelerated the annual increase to 4.6 percent, while bricks and tiles slowed moderately by 0.2 percent m-m, unchanged at an annual increase of 1.5 percent .  Ready mix concrete however rose 5.2 percent since March 2025 and increased by 4.2 percent on a year on year basis.
