Cement Trade Statistics Dashboard January 2024
Following a 28 percent y-y increase in cement imports in 2023, to 933 975 tons, imports rose 57 percent y-y in January 2024 to 91 984 tons. Vietnam remains the most prominent import country, but imports continued from Mozambique and Namibia, with around 6 000 tons imported from these two countries during the month, representing an increase of 67 percent y-y.
