Wholesale Trade and Retail Sales: Construction Materials January 2008 - September 2025

Wholesale trade sales of construction materials (business to business) increased by 8.8 percent y-y in September 2025, outpacing the increase in total wholesale trade sales that rose 4.4 percent. Consumer driven retail trade sales at hardware stores increased by 3.9 percent y-y, against an overall 5.3 percent increase in total retail trade sales.
