PULSE - What influences the choice of a construction material supplier?

The Preferred Supplier and Competitor Survey is a monthly survey conducted by Industry Insight on current, active construction projects that have recently been awarded. It includes targeted research related to construction materials such as cement, ready mix, paint, formwork, scaffolding, aggregates, floor, and wall surfaces.  Materials included are based on clients’ requests and deemed viable for research purposes. This means the material supplier must be identifiable by the respondent to differentiate the different suppliers for a particular product.

7 key areas are covered, including access to account facilities, proximity to site (or place), price, product, or loyalty to the brand, listed by the professional team, levels of service or for transformation purposes.  Details of survey results by material type and/or specific material suppliers are available to PSS subscribers.
