Manufacturing Production Capacity Utilisation: Cement and Aggregates

Manufacturing production utilisation of cement and aggregates edged higher in 2023Q3 but remains 2 percent lower compared to the same time last year. Insufficient demand remains the key reason for under-utilisation although as a percentage it decreased in Q3 with an increasing percentage of respondents referring to raw materials as a production constraint.
