Estimated Civil Tender Values: February 2023

The estimated value of civil tenders released in February 2023 was weaker with only 5 higher CIDB grade 9 tenders issued compared to 16 in January 2023. This lowered the estimated tender values by 22.7 percent y-y and 48 percent on a month-on-month basis. 4 of the 9 provinces did however record an increase in tender values, including Eastern Cape, Free State, Kwazulu Natal and Mpumalanga. Values fell sharply in all the other provinces,  including Gauteng and Western Cape.
