CRMS Dashboard July 2023

The composite CRMS index (including market capitalisation values of contractors, suppliers, retailers and property funds) gained 4.3 percent m-m in July 2023, supported by the contractors and non-residential property fund indices. WBHO, Raubex and Stefanutti Stocks reported moderate gains, while all the non-residential property funds reported gains.  Suppliers recorded another difficult month, with losses reported by Cashbuild, Italtile, Afrimat, PPC and Sephaku. On a year on year basis, all the sub-indices are still weaker in terms of their composite market capitalisation values, except for the suppliers index, up 13.8 percent y-y.

A full review of company's performance will be released in the 1st week of August 2023, based on financial results that have been released during the month of July 2023.
