The construction labour force increased by 5.7 percent y-y in 2022Q3 to 1 223 000, with an interesting profile at a provincial level. The impact of weak survey responses during 2021 however is still at play. The 3rd quarter showed an increase in both the formal and informal construction sector, and a double digit year on year increase in the employment of woman in the construction sector.
