Building Plans Approved National Summary November 2022

Private sector plans approved edged lower in November, down 0.9 percent y-y (in SQM), slowing the annual growth rate to 4.4 percent over the last 12 months. An increase in office space approvals in Gauteng and renovations of other buildings in Wester Cape supported an overall increase of 22 percent y/y in non-residential approvals for the month of November 2022.
