Kwazulu Natal Investment pledges surpass R124bn

One of the stand out investments include the R6n from Azania MediaWorks that proposes a large film, media, data-centre, arena and hospitality precinct. The profile says planning work is complete and finance engagement is underway, with groundbreaking targeted for Q2 2027.   In Health Care there is the R1.3bn Africa Heart and Lung Institute, and several large manufacturing and industrial investment opportunities across eThekwini and King Cetshwayo. Colenso Power Project is a R12bn investment and combines clean fuels and chemicals, mineral processing, hydrogen, gas-to-power and solar in the Uthukela region. In Property and Real Estate there is the R10bn (phase 1) and R22bn (Phase 2) Melmoth Mixed Use Development, in King Cetshwayo, he R1bn Park Rynie Mall and R1bn Renishaw Hills in Ugu, and a R1.9bn Village Connect Centre in Uthukela.
