The annual increase in the composite construction material price index edge slightly higher to an annual increase of 12.9 percent y-y in April 2022 from 12.5 percent in March. Several materials have shown an above average inflationary increase, amongst others, paint, carpentry of wood, pipes, tubes and fittings, ceiling boards, bituminous mixtures and reinforcing steel.
