Construction liquidations increased by 9 percent y-y during the first six months of 2025, with 35 companies liquidated. Although majority were voluntary liquidations, there was a two-fold increase in the number of compulsory liquidations, as the construction sector continues to face challenging working conditions. By comparison total liquidations across all sectors fell by 1 percent y-y to 753 companies between January and June 2025.
