Infrastructure funding dominated construction-related developments this week, with the approval of the World Bank’s R24.7 billion Development Policy Loan, the African Development Bank’s R7.2 billion Mpumalanga Municipal Utility Reform Programme, and further financial progress on the R25 billion Olifants Management Model Programme. Together, these announcements reinforce the growing role of development finance institutions in supporting South Africa’s infrastructure reform agenda and improving long-term investment in the water, electricity and transport sectors.<\/p>\n
